Highlights on this week's update of craft beer events in North Texas include the opening of the newest brewing operation in the area. Balanced Rock Brewing will welcome guests for the first time this Thursday in The Colony.
Elsewhere, all things hoppy will be in the spotlight on Saturday during The Hoppening at The Bearded Monk in Denton and Hopocalypse Now at Rollertown Beerworks of Celina. Then on Sunday, Oak Highlands Brewery of Dallas will be the setting for the Eleventh Annual Craft Beer & Chili Challenge benefiting The Ashford Rise School of Dallas.
Of course, if you didn't get enough green beer over the weekend, St. Patrick's Day festivities will be going on at a number of locales on Monday, so check the listings below for details.
