Highlights on this week's update of craft beer events in North Texas include a birthday bash at Southside Cellar of Fort Worth. Happening on Saturday, the pub's Fifth Anniversary Extravaganza will feature raffle giveaways, rare beers on tap and more.
Also on Saturday is a benefit for John "Beef" Laughman, head brewer at Martin House Brewing Co. in Fort Worth. Being billed as Beefapalooza, there will be prize raffles, Beef DK t-shirts, and cans of the brewery's new Beefapalooza Hazy IPA for purchase, with a portion of all proceeds going to help in Beef's recovery from a recent injury.
