Highlights on this week's update of craft beer events in North Texas include birthday bashes at two area venues. Taking place on Saturday, The Thirsty Growler will host its Tenth Anniversary Party in The Colony, while Forney Brewing Co. has its One Year Anniversary Party in Forney.

Elsewhere, Christmas in July events will be happening this weekend at False Idol Brewing of North Richland Hills, Odd Muse Brewing Co. of Farmers Branch, and Tupps Brewery of McKinney. Check the listings below for details.

As for other items of interest, Maple Branch Craft Brewery will offer The Historical Four Beer Flight Experience on Saturday in Fort Worth. Then in honor of Belgian Independence Day on Tuesday, July 21, there will be Belgian Beer Week specials at Flying Saucer Fort Worth every day this week, and a Belgian Independence Beer Tasting at The Ginger Man in Irving on Saturday.
