Highlights on this week's update of craft beer events in North Texas include a birthday bash at Denton County Brewing Co. of Denton. The brewery's Ninth Anniversary Party will take place over the course of three days beginning on Friday, with live music, new releases and more on the bill.

Elsewhere, Saturday's schedule has Sour Fest at Intrinsic Smokehouse & Brewery of Garland, Pickle Fest at Martin House Brewing Co. of Fort Worth, the High Gravity Party at Odd Muse Brewing Co. of Farmers Branch, and Crawfish Boils at 903 Brewers of Sherman and Oak Cliff Brewing Co. and Lakewood Growler of Dallas.

Then on Sunday, Three Empires Brewing Co. of Frisco will host an Old World vs. New World Beer Pairing Experience led by a local Cicerone.
