Brian Brown is a freelance writer covering the beer industry in Dallas-Fort Worth. His own beer journey started in the late 1990s, with a growing interest leading him to become a certified judge in the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP). In 2010 he began writing for Examiner.com, and in 2013 he founded the website BeerInBigD.com. Since then, he has gone on to co-author the book North Texas Beer: A Full-Bodied History of Brewing in Dallas, Fort Worth and Beyond, while also contributing articles published by The Dallas Morning News, Dallas Observer, D Magazine and Edible Dallas & Fort Worth.
